Safe apps make their controls findable. If viewing stored data, disabling memory, or deleting your account takes more than a couple of taps to locate, treat that opacity as a warning sign in itself.

Before sharing deeply, check three things in the current app: what is saved, how long it may be kept, and whether you can view, edit, disable, or delete memory. Clear controls matter more than vague reassurance.
