When comparing any service, test the controls yourself with a harmless detail. Ask the companion to remember it, locate the saved memory, remove it, and see whether the change is reflected. Then check the written policy for what deletion does not cover. If the control exists only in a policy but cannot be found in the product, that gap is part of the trust decision.
